This policy applies to every school using the app. Each school also has a version showing its own name, address and contact details.
This policy covers fees paid to your child’s school (“the School”) through Edumitra Companion — tuition, transport and other school fees — whether paid online or recorded in the app after a UPI or bank transfer. The app provides a service only; no goods are sold or delivered, so there is nothing to “return”. Items bought from the School outside the app, such as books or uniforms, follow the School’s own rules.
When an online payment succeeds you receive a receipt and the amount appears against your child’s fee record. If you paid by UPI or bank transfer, submit the payment reference (UTR) and receipt in the app; the amount is credited once the School has matched it with its bank statement. Please keep your receipt or reference.
Whether any fee is refundable when a student withdraws or transfers is decided by the School under its fee and admission rules. Refunds of this kind are not automatic: please apply in writing to the School office.
The School’s fee rules apply to which of its fee heads are covered; the School office can tell you.
Contact the School office and give: the student’s name and admission number, the date, amount and payment reference or receipt number, and the reason. The School will confirm what it can refund and when. Refunds are made to the original payment method wherever possible; for payments by UPI or bank transfer they are made by transfer to the account that paid.
Contact details for each school are shown on that school’s own version of this document and on the Contact page inside the app.
If a refund query is not resolved by the School office, write to the School office, or to the software provider at support@bsoftware.co.in.
